Cold Craft Bar

The Cold Craft Bar builds upon elements from Cold Pop while elevating the service model and leaning on notions of mixology to strengthen the Starbucks Reserve brand. As a limited market test within the Austin and Palm Springs markets, the Cold Craft Bar makes use of underutilized store real estate to test cold craft beverage storytelling and customer engagement.

CONCEPT
& PROCESS

Building on the success of Cold Pop at the global headquarters in Seattle, mock-ups were built in the Innovation Lab to test ergonomics, bar layout, and experiential engagement. New equipment coupled with a front-facing service model is leveraged to deliver a premium experience to the Reserve store environment, placing an emphasis on fresh ingredients and storytelling through mixology. New hand-held menus and graphics designed for a custom rotating cycle of beverages highlight new seasonal flavors and stories.
